The concept that God provided man with ideas and then wrote them down in his own words is dangerous. Alternatively, the notion that God gave man the words and he merely passed them on is also incorrect. The truth is that the Word of God was complete before creation. This principle of verbal inspiration holds that every word in Scripture is given by inspiration of God. The process involved God choosing men, setting them apart as holy vessels to convey His message; despite their inherent sinfulness. In this way, God bypassed human will and spoke directly through these chosen individuals. Ultimately, it was God who gave us His words through these men, not to them.
