Royal Shakespeare Company Dramatized Bible
Early Christians first heard God's Word from someone reading it to them. The Scriptures were spoken to the audience, then recorded in text. A prophet spoke, then he, or another, wrote down the words. Jesus spoke, then His disciples wrote down the words.
This is a dramatized audio version of the Bible, performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It was originally released on cassette tapes, but is no longer in circulation and thus hard to find. This is a shame, as it was a great audio performance of the King James Bible. Fortunately, someone digitized it.
So then faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- Romans 10:17
I have been editing these to separate the files by book, so I'm uploading them as I edit and listen to make sure the cuts aren't jarring.
